Our history of success
Jobs and Economic Equity
Jobs and Economic Equity Campaigns with partners like Pepco, DC Water, and public transit systems have resulted in wage increases and better benefits for thousands of workers. WIN negotiated with PEPCO, who committed $36 million to support Black- and minority-owned businesses in under-resourced communities.
Public Safety WIN has pushed for increased funding for community-based violence prevention programs that prioritize public health approaches to safety.
