Rev. William H. Lamar IV, is a Pastor of Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church in Washington, DC. His interests include Economic justice, reparations, housing, health, living wages, and universal basic income.
He worked to close DC General, working to ensure that DC residents can live and thrive on Reservation 13 and the current site of RFK, worked with transportation unions to protect public employees, working to create homeownership opportunities for public housing residents, helped to develop the Building Black Wealth through Homeownership initiative.
