Mr. Barry Socks, Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church
Barry Socks is a skilled strategist and collaborative relationship builder with an extensive background in public sector Strategic Human Resources Management, and over 10 years of experience as a member of the Senior Executive Service. Currently, he is a Senior HR Consultant, where he helps federal clients optimize their Strategic Human Resources operations and improve customer service. Prior to serving as an HR Consultant, Barry was the Chief Operating Officer for the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), a small federal agency. During his tenure at NCPC, he also assumed the role of Deputy Chair of the Small Agency Executive Committee. Beyond his professional pursuits, Barry is a long-time, active member of the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church. There he is a member of the Senior Board of Stewards and the President of the Men’s Ministry – serving his beloved community faithfully.
