Jackie Wright

Operations Manager

Jackie Wright (she, her, hers) is WIN’s Operations Manager. She started working at WIN after serving on the Strategy Team for six years, and most recently, on WIN’s Board of Trustees. Jackie began volunteering with WIN in 2014, being moved to act after the disappearance of Relisha Rudd from the former D.C. General Hospital Shelter. As part of a team of WIN volunteers, she became involved in organizing around the issue of families and children experiencing homelessness and living at the shelter. Jackie brings many talents to the organization including her background in meetings and events, as well as budgeting and IT from her previous positions at a medical association and a Big 4 accounting firm. She is very excited to contribute to WIN as a staff member facilitating behind-the-scenes work supporting WIN staff and volunteers. Jackie is deeply committed to building a new vision for her hometown, a city where there is equity for everyone, especially in housing. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys listening to live music, attending book readings at Sixth and I, watching WETA UK, and reading about the British Royal Family.
